So for our 3-day weekend, me, Kyle, Melissa, Noel and Courtney went to Iguazu to see the waterfalls, in the north of Argentina.  These are just some of the pictures (I took over 200!).

Bus Trip

To save some money (a lot, actually) we decided to go to Iguazu by bus.  The trip is 18 hours in each direction (we traveled overnight) but in the end, it really doesn't seem that long. (Maybe that's thanks to the alcohol). A little something about the Retiro bus station: its a quarter mile long, and has slots for 75 busses, all lined up on one side.  Its actually 3 floors: bottom for cargo shipments, the middle for the busses, and the top for purchasing tickets (the bus companies are grouped geographically by where they travel to - and there are TONS of companies).

Puerto Iguazu

This is the town where our hostel was.  We walked around it a little, and it was really cute (and had cheap food!).

Hito de Tres Fronteras

This is the part of Argentina where it touches both Brazil and Paraguay.  The borders of these three countries are defined by the Iguazu River.

There were some hammocks and a fireplace out behind the rooms...the fireplace is actually the hostel's water boiler. Also pictures of Kyle's 4 peso Heineken and a cafe.
